S.L. 104.5 Art. 4Provisions relating to time.

The amounts of compensation mentioned in regulation 3(a)

and (b) shall come into force as follows:

(a) as from the 5th August, 2008 until the 10th day of December, 2009, the amounts of compensation mentioned in regulation 3(a) shall be that of up to one million, one hundred and sixty-four thousand and six hundred and eighty-six euro and seventy cents (€1,164,686.70) per accident, irrespective of the number of injured parties involved; whereas the amounts of compensation mentioned in regulation 3(b) shall be that of up to two hundred and thirty-two thousand and nine hundred and thirty-seven euro and thirty-four cents (€ 232,937.34) irrespective of the number of parties involved or the nature of the damage;

(b) as from the 11th day of December, 2009 the amounts of compensation, in the case of claims relating to death or bodily injury, mentioned in paragraph (a) shall be increased to that of two million five hundred thousand euro (€2,500,000) for every claim, whatever the number of injured parties; whereas the amounts of compensation in the case of claims relating to property mentioned in the said paragraph shall be increased to that of five hundred thousand euro (€500,000) for every claim, whatever the number of injured parties;

(c) as from the 11th day of June, 2012 the amounts of compensation applicable shall be those amounts prescribed in regulation 3(a) and (b).
