A declaration regarding renunciation of citizenship of

Malta under article 13(1) of the Act shall be in the relative form set out in the Second Schedule, and shall be signed by the declarant before a Commissioner for Oaths:

Provided that, where the declarant resides abroad and the declaration is made in foreign country, it may be signed by him before any person who under the law of that country is empowered to administer oaths.
