S.L. 411.4 Art. 7Acting service in the Force.

Where an officer has performed acting service in a pensionable office in the Force, the period of such service may be taken into account as pensionable service under the Act: Provided that -

(a) the period of such acting service was not part of the pensionable service of the previous holder of the office and does not fall to be reckoned as part of the officer’s own pensionable service under the Act and under these regulations in the Force;

(b) this period of service is immediately preceded or followed by service in a substantive capacity in the Force.
