S.L. 427.69 Art. 2Establishment of the competent authority and enforcement authority.

(1) The Malta Standards Authority is the competent authority and enforcement authority within the meaning of Article

43 of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures, amending and repealing Directives 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EC, and amending Regulation

(EC) No 1907/2006 (hereinafter referred to as ''Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008'').

(2) The Malta Standards Authority shall be the authority responsible for the provisions prescribed in Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008, Title VI, Competent Authorities and Enforcement.
