S.L. 433.26 Art. 8Controls in importation and movement.

(1) Without prejudice to the provisions of the Act and regulations made thereunder, inspections by the Department shall be intensified on any imports of tomato seeds and seedlings.

(2) Any movement of tomato seedlings and tomato fruits will be closely monitored by the Department and will be subjected to the same regime to both tomato fruits and seedlings originating in Malta or any other Member State.
