(1) The Directorate shall ensure that tests are carried out in order to verify that seeds of varieties developed for growing under particular conditions comply with the certification requirements provided for in regulation 27.

(2) The tests referred to in sub-regulation (1) shall be carried out in accordance with current international methods, or in the species in Schedule II.
