S.L. 437.96 Art. 1Citation and scope.

(1) The title of these rules is Maximum Levels of

Unavoidable Carry-Over of Coccidiostats or Histomonostats in Non-Target Feed Rules.

(2) The scope of these rules is to transpose and implement Directive 2009/8/EC of the European Commission which amends the First Annex to Directive 2002/32/EC of the European Parliament and the Council regarding undesirable substances in animal feed as last amended by Directive 2008/76/EC and which establish maximum levels of coccidiostats or histomonostats when these undesirable substances transmit themselves in an unavoidable manner in animal feed.
