S.L. 477.1 Art. 8Access by a third party. Cap. 440.

The Census Officer may, following consultation with the

National Archivist and the Commissioner, where he is satisfied that a third party requires access to the census questionnaires and related documents for the purposes of research and statistics, grant his consent for the said access provided that:

(a) a period of thirty years has elapsed from the date when the said census is concluded; and

(b) where such research concerns sensitive personal data, approval by the Commissioner is obtained in accordance with article 16 of the Data Protection Act.
