Without prejudice to the provisions of regulation 49, the competent authority shall take all possible measures, where practical, for the return of protected specimen from the person illegally keeping the specimen. All expenses made in connection with the carrying out of such measures should be borne by the person, persons or body found guilty of illegal possession and trade.
