S.L. 549.48 Art. 9Compositionofthe Board.

(1) The Board shall be composed of not less than six (6)

members and not more than nine (9) members who shall be appointed by the Minister for a term of three (3) years, renewable for further periods, as follows:

(a) a Chairperson;

(b) a representative of the competent authority;

(c) two (2) members representing the Government;

(d) a maximum of three (3) members from non-governmental organisations holding agreements for the management of the Park; and

(e) a representative from the Local Council of Mellieħa.

(2) The Board shall regulate its own procedure.

(3) The Chairperson shall have a casting vote.
