S.L. 575.4 Art. 17Cessation of liability to pay interest.

(1) Stockholders shall not be entitled to claim interest on any Malta Government Stocks issued under these regulations in respect of any period which has elapsed after the earliest date on which the demand could lawfully have been made for the payment of the principal amount due.

(2) Where an amount has become payable on the Malta Government Stocks as interest due, no interest on that amount shall, after that date, be paid or payable by the Government to any stockholder in any circumstances.
