S.L. 85.10 Art. 3Payment, etc., by exporters.

(1) Exporters shall, not later than three days after loading on ship any potatoes for export, pay to the Director a sum equivalent to the total value of the potatoes so loaded or give to the Director a bank guarantee for such amount acceptable to the said Director, which guarantee shall be honoured by the bank within thirty days of its date.

(2) Such total value shall be calculated on the basis of the price declared by the relative exporter on the export licence issued by the Director of Trade, and shall include weighing and brokerage fees due, if any.

(3) The price declared on the export licence is to be the same as that which the exporter shall have agreed to pay to the grower for the potatoes purchased by the former.
