Cap. 16 ст. 1717Recovery of money paid for lottery.

Any person who has made any payment in Malta in connection with a lottery set up in Malta or in other countries, may recover the sum paid by him from the person to whom the payment was made, although the latter was only an agent of some other person; unless the lottery was authorised or permitted by the competent authority in Malta.
