Cap. 234 ст. 336Claims of owners to wreck.

(1) The owner of any wreck in the possession of the receiver of wreck, upon establishing his claim to the satisfaction of the receiver or through a decision of the competent court, shall, if the claim is made within one year from the date of the notice given in accordance with article 335, and upon paying the salvage, fees and other expenses due, be entitled to have the wreck or the proceeds thereof delivered up to him.

(2) Upon delivery of a wreck or payment of the proceeds of sale of a wreck by the receiver of wreck in pursuance of the provisions of this Part of this Act, the receiver of wreck shall be discharged from all liability in respect thereof, but the delivery or payment as aforesaid shall not prejudice or affect any question which may be raised by third parties concerning the right or title to the wreck.
