Cap. 254 ст. 29Exemption from liability for loss, misdelivery, delay or damage.

The postal operator shall not incur any liability for compensation by reason of loss, misdelivery, or delay of, or damage to, any postal article in the course of transmission by post, unless such compensation -

(a) has been agreed to by the postal operator and the sender, or

(b) has been established by regulations as may from time to time be prescribed under this Act, irrespective of the value of the article: Provided neither the Authority or any of its officers or any officer of a postal operator shall incur any liability by reason of any such loss, misdelivery, delay, or damage, unless the same has been caused in bad faith or recklessly.
