(1) So long as any interest is payable under this Act in respect of any debt security and any debt instrument, the Minister shall, on the date on which the interest on such debt securities and other debt instruments falls due, appropriate out of the general revenue and assets of the Government of Malta a sum sufficient to meet all interest payable on that date and shall authorise the Accountant General to pay such interest out of the sum so appropriated.

under article 14, all payments related to such debt in respect of interest, sinking fund, redemption monies, and any other charges and expenses incidental to the management of that debt shall be payable out of the general revenue and assets of the Government and charged to the Consolidated Fund and other public funds of the Government without the need of any further appropriation other than this Act.
