Cap. 630 ст. 12Removal from office.

(1) The Regulator may, at any time, be removed or suspended from office by the Minister after consultation with the Committee on the grounds of proved inability to perform the functions of the office of the Regulator or due to proved misbehaviour:

Provided that if the Committee is not constituted or if Parliament is not in session, the Regulator may be suspended from office by the Minister, acting in accordance with his own discretion, for proved inability to perform the functions of the office or due to proved misbehaviour to the satisfaction of the Minister, but any such suspension shall not continue to be in force beyond two (2) months after the Committee is constituted and Parliament is in session.

(2) The Regulator may, at any time, resign from office by notice in writing addressed to the Minister.
