S.L. 251.2 ст. 6Presentation.

(1) The Medal shall be presented -

(a) by the President of Malta; or

(b) by any High Commissioner, Ambassador, other diplomatic or consular representative (including honorary representative) of Malta, or any other person so authorised, to make the award in the name of the President: Provided that, where it shall not be convenient or practical for the presentation to be made in person, the Medal may be delivered by registered post or such other means as may be considered expedient.

(2) When Medals are presented by the President, he shall address recipients as follows:

"On behalf of the Government and people, I confer on you the National Commemorative Medal to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of the award of the George Cross to Malta.".

(3) The representative of the President shall address recipients as follows: "In the name of the President of Malta, and on behalf of the Government and people of Malta, I confer on you the National Commemorative Medal to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of the award of the George Cross to Malta.".
