S.L. 327.618 ст. 3Requirements for Admission. 

(1) Applicants may be registered as students on the

Course if they are in possession of at least a SEC pass in Maltese at grade 5 or better and of:

(a) the degree of Bachelor of Education (Honours); or

(b) a first cycle degree together with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education; or

(c) a first cycle and/or second cycle degree or higher and a permanent teacher’s warrant; or

(d) any other recognized teaching qualification together with a permanent teacher’s warrant; or MALTESE AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE - P.G. CERT.

(e) a first cycle and/or second cycle degree or higher.

(2) The Board shall recommend to Senate the number of applicants that may be allowed to register on the Course, depending on the availability of resources. The number of available places shall be announced at the time of the call for applications.

(3) When the number of places is so limited and the number of eligible applicants exceeds the number of available places, applicants will be selected using the following criteria, the weighting of which shall be published at the time of the call for applications:

(a) degree type and classification;

(b) work experience; and

(c) performance during an interview, if required.

(4) The interviewing board appointed by the Board shall be composed of at least three members.
