(1) The title of these regulations is the Financial

Markets Act (MiFID and MiFIR Administrative Penalties, Measures and Investigatory Powers) Regulations.

(2) The purpose of these regulations is to transpose and implement Article 70(1), Article 70(3) to (6) and Article 71(1) to (5) of MiFID, as herein defined and shall be interpreted and applied accordingly.
