S.L. 390.5 ст. 2Interpretation.

In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires -

"Act" means the Periti Act;

"activities in the field of architecture and civil engineering"

means those activities usually pursued under the professional title of perit;

"applicant" means any person from a Member State applying to the Board for authorisation to practise the profession in Malta;

"application" means a request submitted by an applicant to practise the profession in Malta;

"European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System" or "ECTS credits" means the credit system for higher education used in the European Higher Education Area; "professional traineeship" means a period of professional practice carried out under supervision.
