(1) It is hereby authorised that due to oversubscription in Lm5,000,000 6.65% Malta Government Stock 2000 (VI) an additional issue of Lm12,500,000 6.65% Malta Government Stock 2000 (VI) be issued thus bringing the amount of 6.65% Malta Government Stock 2000 (VI) created by means of Legal Notice 144

of 1997 to a total amount of Lm17,500,000.

(2) The half yearly contribution to the sinking fund according to paragraph 6 of Legal Notice 144 of 1997 shall be raised from Lm50,000 to Lm175,000.

(3) All applications received by the closing date 18th October, 1997 will be accepted.
