S.L. 437.102 ст. 4Measures to be adopted by the competent authority for intra- Community trade.

The competent authority shall ensure that only semen meeting the following general conditions is intended for trade:

(a) it shall have been collected and processed, for the purpose of artificial insemination, in a semen collection centre approved from an animal health point of view for the purposes of intra-Community trade in accordance with rule 5(1);

(b) it shall have been collected from domestic animals of the porcine species whose health status complies with Schedule II;

(c) it shall have been collected, processed, stored and transported in accordance with Schedules I and II; and

(d) it shall be accompanied, during transport to the Member State of destination, by an animal health certificate complying with rule 6(1).
