These regulations bring into effect the provisions of Directive

2002/49/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 June 2002 relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise as amended by Commission Directive (EU) 2015/996 of 19 May 2015, Commission Directive (EU) 2020/367 of 4 March 2020 and Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2021/1226 of 21 December 2020.
