(1) The environmental impact assessment shall identify, describe and assess in an appropriate manner, in the light of each individual case, the direct and indirect significant effects of a project on the following factors, as detailed further in the Schedules:

(a) population and human health;

(b) biodiversity and ecology, with particular but not exclusive attention to species and habitats protected under other national and European Union legislation, including the

Conservation of Wild Birds Regulations and the Flora, Fauna and Natural Habitats Protection Regulations;

(c) the physical environment, land, soil, water, air and climate;

(d) material assets, cultural heritage and the landscape;

(e) the interaction between the factors referred to in paragraph (a) to (d) above.

(2) The effects referred to in sub-regulation (1) on the factors set out therein shall include the expected effects deriving from the vulnerability of the project to risks of major accidents or disasters that are relevant to the project or its location.
