S.L. 549.89 ст. 19Transfer of a producer’s business to another.

(1) Where the business of a producer is transferred in whole or in part to another person, the producer shall be treated as remaining responsible for electrical and electronic equipment in respect of which he has made an application to register under regulation 16, unless he is able to demonstrate to the competent authority that the person to whom the transfer has been made has agreed to meet the producer’s obligations in respect of any such electrical and electronic equipment under these regulations.

(2) Where sub-regulation (1) applies, the person to whom the whole or part of a business is transferred is a producer for the purposes of these regulations, and that person shall:

(a) apply to the competent authority for registration under regulation 16; and

(b) undertake to meet the stipulated targets in regulations 7 and 11.
