As from the 4th April 2016 all functions currently carried out by the Planning Directorate of the Malta Environment and

Planning Authority shall be assumed by the Planning Authority established under the Development Planning Act, and all the functions currently carried out by the Environment Protection

Directorate of the Malta Environment and Planning Authority shall be assumed by the Environment Resources Authority established under the Environment Protection Act.
