If, owing to the configuration of the site on which the structure is to be constructed, the back yard cannot be of the prescribed length or width, the Authority may permit a smaller length or width, provided that, in the Authority’s opinion, such smaller length or width, having regard to the particular circumstances of the site, is sufficient to secure such natural light and ventilation as are required for the wholesome condition of the structure.
