In circumstances where the Accountant General judges there is demand in a particular Malta Government Stock or in an attempt to maintain a supply of current benchmark or to increase depth and liquidity of a stock in the secondary market, he may offer incremental amounts of that Malta Government Stock to the market either via auction only or through a combined issuance.
