(1) Unless otherwise specified, enforcement of the provisions of this Act or any regulations made thereunder, shall vest in the Director General, provided that the Director General may delegate in writing any of the powers vested in him by virtue of this Act to any public officer, or, with the consent of the Minister, to any other person being a person employed by a body corporate established by law or a person falling within such category as may be prescribed under article 39.

(2) Any officer or other person, authorised as aforesaid, shall, when required, produce the written authorization signed by the Director General.

(3) Any reference in this Act other than in article 22 to an authorised officer or to an authorised public officer shall be deemed to include a reference to a person authorised in accordance with subarticle (1).
