S.L. 117.14 Art. 3Importations subject to an authorization or import licence.

(1) Unless a person is in possession of a valid authorisation or import licence issued by the Minister, he shall not:

(a) transfer into Malta any goods from any Member State of the European Union, which are listed in the First Schedule;

(b) import any goods, originating in any country outside the European Union, which are listed in the Second Schedule;

(c) import any goods listed in the Third or Fourth Schedules, originating in the countries indicated by the country codes appearing in the fourth column of the respective schedules.

(2) For the purposes of subregulation (1), the country codes refer to those countries listed in the Fifth Schedule.
