S.L. 117.14 Art. 5Importations under special circumstances.

(1) Without prejudice to the provisions of these regulations, no person may import any goods originating from any country, if such importation is not in conformity with a common position or joint action adopted by the Council of the European Union, or a binding resolution of the Security Council of the United Nations or a decision of the Organisation for the Security and Co-operation in Europe.

(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of these regulations, the importation of any goods manufactured, duplicated or otherwise reproduced or copied in violation of the rights of copyright enjoyed by any person and protected by Maltese law is hereby prohibited and no authorization or licence shall be granted for such importation.
