S.L. 371.21 Art. 33Administrative fines.

(1) Without prejudice to the provisions of regulation

34, the competent authority may impose an administrative fine, issue such order or directive, or decision or take such measure as may be deemed appropriate in terms of these regulations, upon any person who contravenes or fails to comply with any of the provisions of these regulations.

(2) Any person guilty of an offence under the provisions of these regulations shall be liable on conviction to a fine (multa) not exceeding four hundred and sixty-five thousand eight hundred and seventy-five euro (€465,875) or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding four (4) years, or to both such fine and imprisonment.
