The European Consumer Centre Malta shall be responsible for assisting consumers to access ADR entities operating in another

Member State which are competent to deal with their cross-border disputes with regard to disputes arising from cross-border sales or service contracts: Provided that the Minister, after consultation with the Council, may by notice in the Gazette also require public entities involved in any aspect of consumer protection to provide such assistance to consumers in relation to the specific areas of consumer protection as may fall within their remit.
