S.L. 427.23 Art. 21EC type-approval of small series.

(1) At the request of the manufacturer and within the quantitative limits set out in Schedule XII, Part A, Section 1, the approval authority shall grant, in accordance with the procedure referred to in regulation 6(4), an EC type-approval in respect of a type of vehicle which satisfies at least the requirements listed in the Appendix to Schedule IV, Part I.

(2) Sub-regulation (1) shall not apply to special purpose vehicles.

(3) EC type-approval certificates shall be numbered in accordance with Schedule VII.
