S.L. 437.72 Art. 24Considerations when carrying out inspections.

(1) In Malta, inspections shall be carried out in such a way that delays in the delivery of products are minimised and that inspections do not result in unjustified obstacles to the marketing thereof.

(2) Officials responsible for inspection are subject to professional confidentiality: Provided that, this provision shall not affect the possibility for the Veterinary Services of disseminating information necessary to prevent a serious risk to human health, animal health or to the environment.
