S.L. 449.25 Art. 22Transport.

(1) Transport vehicles for fresh or processed fish must transport no other product that might contaminate or otherwise alter the organoleptic characteristics of the fish.

(2) Such vehicles must be equipped to maintain the temperature at 0ºC for fresh fish (or according to the type of product in the case of processed fish) throughout transportation and have a temperature charting device.

(3) Such vehicles must also be easy to clean and disinfect at appropriate facilities provided by the farm itself or by other establishments.

(4) A container for melt water must form part of the vehicle.
