S.L. 458.13 Art. 9Assessment examination.

(1) During the last two weeks of the course of training there shall be an examination, known as the assessment examination, which shall consist of a written and of a pratical and oral test.

(2) The written test shall consist of -

(a) a paper containing questions on midwifery and paediatrics, and

(b) a paper containing questions on social services.

(3) The written test shall be followed by a practical and oral test dealing with all aspects of midwifery, paediatrics and social services, at which test candidates will be required to present to the examiners their record book of instruction and practical work, and detailed case histories of three patients attended during the course.
