S.L. 499.23 Art. 47Carriage of passengers.

Whilst carrying passengers, a commercial passenger vessel shall not be used for any other purpose provided that:

(a) cargo may be carried on board a commercial passenger vessel if so certified and so authorised by the Authority;

(b) it shall always remain the responsibility of the Master to ensure that such cargo is not in any way harmful to passengers by its nature, quantity or stowage.
