S.L. 549.59 Art. 16Nitrogen dioxide measurements.

(1) The competent authority shall measure the concentration of nitrogen dioxide at a minimum of 50% of the ozone sampling points required under Part I of Section C of Schedule 5. The measurement shall be continuous.

(2) The number of sampling points for the fixed measurement of ozone in those zones and agglomerations where during each of the previous five years of measurement, concentrations were below the long term objectives, shall be in accordance with Part II of Section C of Schedule 5.

(3) The competent authority shall set up at least one sampling point in order to measure the concentrations of the ozone precursor substances listed in Schedule 6, taking into account the objectives and methods laid down in the said schedule.
