S.L. 409.5 Art. 2Interpretation.

(1) In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires:

"the Act" means the Malta Travel and Tourism Services Act;

"applicable rate" means the fee charged by the Authority to tourism operations as appearing in the First and Second Schedules;

"tourist areas" and "non-tourist areas" mean the areas specified as such in the Second Schedule;

"tour operator representative" means an incoming tourism agent acting as a representative of a tour operator for leisure travel.

(2) Words and expressions used in these regulations and which are also used in the Act shall, unless the context otherwise requires, have the same meaning as in the Act.
