S.L. 454.2 Art. 5Essential requirements.

Instruments used or intended to be used for the applications listed in paragraphs (a) to (f) of regulation 2(2) shall satisfy the essential requirements set out in Schedule I.

Where the instrument includes, or is connected to, devices which are not used or intended to be used for the applications listed in paragraphs (a) to (f) of regulation 2(2), such devices shall not be subject to those essential requirements.
